Growing up in the daunting yet cultured filled streets of Philly, Dean Jackson was unsuspectingly gaining all he needed for his future. With his aunt’s up to date fashion knowledge and love of Hip Hop, topped with his mom’s more refined taste for every element of the arts and traveling, he learned to find meaning in everything. Currently as a young businessman his walk everyday includes knowledge, experience, and the eagerness to continue learning and assist young people who are stepping into the professional world.
No stranger to all aspects of the entertainment industry or corporate America, Dean is most proud of aligning Ludacris and New Era Fits for the "Capture The Flag" and MLB "Civil Rights Weekend" campaign. Among other things, confidence to start his marketing company was birthed from this monumental accolade. Dean Brand Marketing, LLC is the product of dreams and strategic planning, seeing it come into fruition is helping him to continue dreaming. He has always had a strong passion for the marketing, especially the marketing side of music. For him it is about how the image of an artist translates more so than the artists themselves. Dean admires successes such as Steve Stoute, who is able to merge music and athletics with corporate America and make it transcend any barriers. Now he is able to take his own visions and make them into reality, his own reality.
There is no set place to find motivation. Dean shares his thoughts on where he finds it, “I draw motivation from everywhere, literally. I draw motivation from elder statesman and women who've come before me and have paved the way in the entertainment, marketing and advertising industries. I draw motivation from doing as much reading and research I possibly can pertaining to history, business, art, technology advances and more.”
Dean’s ultimate goal is to have Dean Brand Marketing, LLC to operate as a 360 degree advertising agency with headquarters on Madison Avenue, New York. Taking imperative pieces from his past and continuing to add to his budding future, it looks as though he is well on his way.
