#1 Dave Chappelle Turns Down $50 Million & Leaves TV 2005

Chappelle's Show was just about the biggest and best show in the world, when Dave Chappelle walked out on production in May 2005 and sought refuge in South Africa. He didn't like the direction the controversial show was going, and turned down a $55 million contract for the third and fourth seasons.
