JAY-Z + JAGUAR XJ = SUCCESS

I think we have all realized by now that Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter is taking this integrated marketing stuff very seriously by now (HP, Reebok, Budweiser, Chevy, and more). If not, THINK AGAIN! The terrible 2 are back at it in another episode of "The Adventures of Translation Advertising". This time luxury auto-maker Jaguar (a division of the Ford Motor Company) Jaguar looks to Jay-Z to place it's 2011 Jaguar XJ in the video of the fourth single from the platinum album "The Blueprint 3".

It begin with a preview of the video during Jaguar's XJ launch event at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jay-Z Fans and patrons of the event were able to access an early viewing of the vehicle via Jay-Z's video on an exclusive interactive web-site designed solely for the Jaguar XJ by logging onto www.interactivejaguar.com

The car makers goal was to symbolize "success". I think they accomplished their goal 10x's over. The online viewing was available to consumers globally in January 2010.
