Hov’s chain of sports bars will be adding a new string of locations…
Jay-Z’s empire is once again expanding. His 40/40 franchise, in a partnership with Delaware North Companies, will now be popping up at airports across the United States.
Delaware North Companies, which operates dozens of national and regional brand restaurants and shops at more than 20 major U.S. airports, will be giving travelers access to Hov’s sports bars.
“We are thrilled to partner with the 40/40 Club, to bring a stylish sports bar and lounge to airports across the country,” Robert Stanton, vice president of business development, said in a press release announcing the new venture. “From the personalized, one-of-a-kind jerseys on the wall, to every sports game you can think of on the television screens, the club will bring a new experience that we are sure travelers will welcome.”
The 40/40 first opened up in 2003, with its inaugural location in Manhattan. In the years since, locations have opened in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, although the latter has since closed. —Adam Fleischer
