Hublot King Power Dwayne Wade

Hublot recently unveiled the highly anticipated (by some devotees at least!) King Power Dwyane Wade, a limited edition timepiece celebrating the achievements of NBA superstar and Hublot ambassador Dwayne Wade. The announcement was made in conjunction with the launch of Hublot’s “One Million RMB Basketball Chinese Charity Challenge”- the brand’s first international event linked with basketball – in which Wade will be participating in Beijing.

The watch itself is nothing particularly ground-breaking from Hublot, with the color scheme inspired by Wade’s Miami Heat team colors. Presented in an over-sized, 48mm micro-blasted ceramic case the brand claims that the face of the watch is reminiscent of the hardwoods of the basketball court complete with a leather wrist strap with netted stitching.

Wade’s jersey number ‘3’ features prominently at 3 o’clock, ensuring that this particular timepiece can be distinguished from other, very similar, offerings from Hublot.

The Final Word

The Hublot King Power Dwayne Wade will be limited to 500 pieces and given his superstar status in China, let alone the rest of the world, it won’t take long for these to sell out, so if you want one be sure to get in quick!
