Every time the buzzer sounds off and the 4th Quarter begins you can be sure to catch Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter sitting courtside watching all of the action to play out. No I am not talking about sitting next to "B" at the Nets game but I am simply speaking of his strategic marketing positioning that is carefully mapped out to promote his latest works. In this case, we are speaking of the highly anticipated Blueprint 3. The third and final chapter of the series. Dating back to 1998 when the Jigga Man embarked on a 54 City tour which broke records and was non-violent led to his highest selling album to date "Hard Knock Life" which shared the name of the tour.
Since then, the tattoo-less, dread-less Mr. Carter has teamed up with many corporate entites which has not only help his brand as an executive but definitely has kept him relevant an an artist. Brands such as Budweiser, Heineken, Sprite, HP, ESPN, NBA, Dale Earnhardt, Dana Kirkpatrick, King James, A-ROD, GMC, Kanye West, and of course Beyonce to name a few have all played key roles in the ongoing evolution of HOV.
After delivering the euology at T-Pain's best friend's funeral (Auto Tune...lol), reminding the world that he ran the town along with Princess Rhi-Rhi and Martin Louis The King Jr., taking a page out of Young Jeezy's image profile by wearing all black and neglecting to get a haircut to show the grind mode (some in which I have done and said for year's but my friends think I'm insane for doing so) HOV will release the Blueprint 3 on the September 11, 2009 which will be the 8th Anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks on the United States of America which also was the release date of the unanomous voted classic Blueprint.
#1 Albums and I Got Like 4 Of Them, More Of Them On The Way....
