Though the highly praised King James has not been appropriately crowned yet. He is on a mission to gather up his troops once again to invade the lands of "Lakerville, USA" to dethrone Sir Kobe Bryant of his reign. But before LBJ23 can engage in war, he has called upon marketing's Mr. Miyagi aka "NIKE" to prepare him for intense preparation to show the world that it's "More Than A Game".
LeBron has a dynamic team from LRMR (owned by LeBron James), to Translation Marketing (owned by Steve Stoute and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter") and CAA. With true understanding of brand positioning and strategic partnerships, the LBJ23 brand will live long after basketball and done. The groundwork is just now being laid.
Now if the Cleveland Cavaliers can take a page out of Nike's playbook, It looks as though they will depart Lakerville victorious.
