ADIDAS TAKES ITS BIG CELEBRITY HOUSE PARTY TO THE STREET
Adidas's house party is continuing. The brand's earlier star-studded video, released in November 2008, has gotten worldwide attention, not to mention a Simpsons parody. Now, agency Sid Lee has moved the party out into the street, but some things remain the same. David Beckham is still there, though he looks a bit more hirsute this time, and DJ Pilooski is still spinning the tunes, though this time he's playing his rendition of Dee Edwards's "Can't There Be Love" (and no, there's nothing wrong with your YouTube feed, that's the way the song goes). Snoop Dogg is a new addition, as are Noel Gallagher of Oasis and lots of people I'm too old to recognize. Once again, it's a fine piece of advertising, making Adidas's Originals line seem both of-the-moment and retro, athletic and leisurely.

MARIAH CAREY "SAY SOMETHING" FT. PHARELL & SNOOP DOGG (A FASHION WEEK: MUSIC TRIBUTE)

In honor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. We are featuring Mariah Carey's "Say Something" featuring Pharrell & Snoop Dogg (I know it's old but hey it's Mariah). This is the ONLY song I think can be embedded as the "official" soundtrack of Fashion Week globally for years to come. After a 2 day shoot in Paris, France with Director Paul Hunter and a slew of paparazzi both real and staged. They bring fashion to the runway or should I say the roadway to accent the "Mercedes Benz" and Maserati which carts Mimi and Skateboard P around Paris like an NYC Taxi Cab. With a budget that looks just short of a James Bond movie, they are allowed unlimited to every public road, the Louis Vuitton Store, and more. Last but not least who embodies high fashion more than Andre Leon Talley (US Vogue Editor At Large).
